Retinal Photos

Digital Retinal Imaging combines the technology of retinal photography and computerized digital imaging to produce remarkably clear images of the back of your eye.  It is pain-free and takes a minimal amount of time. In most cases one's eye does not need to be dilated. It is used to identify abnormalities that could indicate the onset of a number of diseases that can be detected first in the retina.  These photos are great in monitoring eye side effects of medication that treat cholesterol or arthirits..

Age Related Macular Degeneration, Cancer, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma  and Hypertension are a few diseases that having retinal photos done are instrumental in detecting and monitoring.
